How can AI help care workers become better equipped for challenging conversations with people in need of assistance?
Variment and the Grünerløkka Borough’s Mental Health unit in the city of Oslo are set to explore this together.
Oslo, Norway is experiencing a growing need for mental health and substance abuse services, even as the municipality faces tight financial constraints. For staff interacting with people in difficult life situations, effective communication and relational skills are crucial, yet finding the time and resources to practice handling the most challenging scenarios can be difficult.
Through this partnership, Variment and the Grünerløkka Borough will develop new AI-based simulation scenarios focused on substance abuse and mental health.
The simulations will be based on the demanding conversations and situations staff encounter in their daily work. By using AI simulations, staff can practice handling these situations in a safe environment before facing them in real life.
The collaboration with the Grünerløkka Borough marks an important step in developing simulations that are closely aligned with the municipality’s actual needs and day-to-day operations.
We look forward to this collaboration!
