"In 2022, I was caring for my grandfather who was terminally ill and had dementia. During the care process, we did not know how to care for patients who had dementia. We also felt there was a communication gap between family members and care workers. Variment was built based on lived experience, not only from me, but also from many care workers, patients and family members that I have talked to over the past three years."
